Although Sumatran elephants are endangered, it's still not too late to save them! Here are some ways to help:

  1. Word of mouth; they say that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. So just a few social connections, either from friends or family might connect you to a poacher! That means that a little information to somebody can go a long way. Educate people about the Sumatran elephants, why they are endangered, why we need them, and what it takes to save them.
2. Donations! You can donate to organizations that want to help Sumatran elephants. These organizations are called NGOs and aren't funded by the government. That means that donations are the only way to fund them and their environmental activities. These donations, though how small they may be, go a long way into funding new projects to save the Sumatran elephants! Who knows, your money may be used to purchase a GPS collar used to track herds of wild elephants! You can wish to donate by clicking on the donation page on top or go to any website and donate!
